About Tlamatini

Professional tools and visual learning, built by people who measure twice.

Why Tlamatini exists

There's a gap between knowing a number and trusting it. A calculator hands you a volume; it doesn't show you the slab. Tlamatini closes that gap — every tool gives you the number and lets you see it in 3D before you buy, cut, or pour.

The free web is full of single-answer calculators. We're building the opposite: tools you can interrogate, courses that teach the why, and one place to keep your work.

The name

A tlamatini (Nahuatl, “the one who knows things”) was a sage of Mexica culture — the keeper and teacher of knowledge. The tlamatinime preserved what was understood and passed it on. The name fits the half of this platform that teaches, and carries a heritage worth keeping.

Our mark is a three-step pyramid: heritage, levels that ascend as you learn and build, and stacked bars for measuring. The turquoise — xihuitl, among the most prized materials of the Aztecs, tied to the divine and to knowledge — is the color of someone who knows.

How it works

Tools first. Pick a job — a concrete slab, an irregular driveway, a staircase, a grade — enter your measurements, and get an immediate answer with an interactive 3D view. Share it by link, or save it to your account.

Then the courses. Structured lessons with one interactive idea per screen and an immediate check on whether it landed — closer to Brilliant than to a textbook. The free number is the hook; the understanding is the product.

Built by people who measure twice

Every tool shows its formula sources. We'd rather you trust the math because you can check it than because we told you to. Estimates are labeled as estimates, and we point you back to your supplier and your local code where it counts.

That discipline is the whole brand. The fastest way to lose a tradesperson, a student, or a professional is to be confidently wrong.

Who it's for

Three audiences, one platform. The trades — calculate materials and verify the work in 3D before it's permanent. Students — learn math from the basics up with lessons you manipulate, not just read. Professionals — expert-grade tools for finance, teaching, physics, math, and art.

We launch deep in one vertical and grow from there, guided by what people actually use — not by what looks good on a roadmap.
